April 24th 2005 - April 2nd 2006
Ares, an Angel gifted to us. A dear sweet baby boy, who was not with us nearly long enough. And yet, what time he did have will leave a lasting memory on us forever. Ares, was to be our future stud. But alas, it was not to be. Sadly.
Our sweet little man, was diagnoised on April 2nd, with a Portosystemic Shunt, of the liver. He suffered a grand mal seizure while in for treatment, and we made the choice to help him over the bridge. (there are some more details of course, but we wish this to be a happy dedication page)
He led such a blessed little life, he was our special "Little man", he touched everyone who came in contact with him, and instantly made them love his sweet little face, his soft mew,and his wonderfull purr.
Mornings were spent following mom and dad around while they got ready for the day, sitting in the bathroom, while showers were taken, getting under foot at the fridge, and anywhere else mom and dad chose to walk.
Afternoons sprawled in the sunlight, and evenings sleeping in the stolen crisper from the Fridge, when mom was cleaning it out one day, and he slept in it, and never gave it back. That was HIS crisper. And our fridge will forever be, a one crisper fridge now.
Nights spent in bed with mom, shareing her evening snack (just a little taste) and than curling up to purr. Demanding attention when it was called for, with headbutts, nose bites, and wonderfull purring. And never fearing to wake momma up when I needed something, a small pat to the cheeks was all it took.
Bless you our sweet Ares, our little man. You shall always be missed, and we will now forever hold a hole in our hearts where you once where. But we know, that someday, when it is time, we will see you on the otherside of that Rainbow bridge, purring away and ready to show us what fun there is to be had.
Enjoy the crisper Little Man!
